Ravens reach agreement in principle with tight end Benjamin Watson

With Crockett Gillmore having both shoulders operated on this offseason and Nick Boyle suspended for the first 10 games of 2016, Ravens coach John Harbaugh has talked about the importance of adding another tight end.

It appears that the Ravens have done just that.

According to an industry source, the Ravens have an agreement in principle with veteran tight end Benjamin Watson, a 12-year veteran who is coming off the best season of his career. Watson caught 74 passes for 825 yards and six touchdowns while starting 16 games for the New Orleans Saints last year.
