OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens kept together the core of one of the best special-teams units in the NFL by re-signing Pro Bowl long-snapper Morgan Cox to a five-year deal on Monday.
The Ravens' Pro Bowl specialists, kicker Justin Tucker and punter Sam Koch, are more well-known, but team officials insisted keeping Cox was just as important.
"Morgan has been one of the best, if not the best in the business for a few years now," coach John Harbaugh said.
This long-term deal represents a well-deserved reward.
