On Saturday, a statement from the NFLPA was released on behalf of the Baltimore Ravens players.
On Monday, the in-person voluntary offseason workout program is set to begin, hence why this was released on Saturday.
The Ravens are not the only program denying the in-person voluntary offseason workouts. Many teams are forgoing the voluntary offseason workouts, which is their right per the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
Many franchises released statements at the same time, of similar degree. Many cited the virtual program last season to keep them safe and though they’re not preparing as a collective unit in-person, they still know how to keep themselves prepared for the upcoming 2021-2022 season.
