Ravens plan to rotate cornerbacks in the slot as Tavon Young weighs surgery

Following the potential season-ending neck injury to slot cornerback Tavon Young, Baltimore must find a new player to man the position. Luckily for the Ravens, cornerback is one of the deepest positions on the roster, leaving John Harbaugh with several qualified candidates.

It’s not impossible that Young could play this season, however.

Harbaugh said that Tavon Young still weighing his options on whether to have surgery or not. Young will almost certainly start season on IR. The question is whether he returns in second half.

If Young elects not to have surgery, he will presumably start the season on injured reserve, where he could be one of two players to return later in the season.
