Baltimore was dealt a tough blow on Tuesday night as it was announced that one of the city’s most beloved figures, Mo Gaba passed away after a long battle with cancer. Mo was an exceptional young man who despite facing extremely difficult circumstances from an early age, showed a remarkable sense of optimism and passion for life.
He showed this passion in his love for sports, first making waves by calling into Baltimore’s CBS Sports radio affiliate 105.7 The Fan where he became known for his colorful predictions and immediate rapport with station host Jeremy Conn. The two struck up an in person friendship that led to a deep bond over their years of knowing each other, and Jeremy deserves a ton of credit for helping to push Mo’s story out there for the world to see.
