The 2023 Baltimore Ravens offense was a bit of a strange ride. They hired a new offensive coordinator in Todd Monken and overhauled a putrid receiving corps through the draft and free agency.
To start the year, the team had its ups and downs before eventually establishing themselves as a dominant unit that could attack defenses in a multitude of ways. While the team finally found a way to deploy multiple wide receivers out of 11 personnel, it never really felt like the team had a true offensive identity. Sure, there were still those games where the team bludgeoned opponents on the ground, but when push came to shove in the AFC Championship game, the team didn’t have a trump card to play when it really mattered.
