The Baltimore Ravens' 2025 NFL season already feels like it has slipped away from them. With a 1-4 record and star quarterback Lamar Jackson dealing with an injury, the franchise is in incredibly murky water right now with no clear direction as to where to go.
Typically, when teams get down in the dumps like this, they pawn off whatever valuable players they have and have a firesale ahead of the trade deadline. That process may have begun for the Ravens on Tuesday afternoon when they traded edge rusher Odafe Oweh to the Los Angeles Chargers.
In return, they received a promising safety in Alohi Gilman, who played with Kyle Hamilton at Notre Dame, as well as a fifth-rounder.
