Ravens' next move after Jaire Alexander trade feels painfully obvious

The Baltimore Ravens made the first move in what should be a flurry of moves ahead of the NFL trade deadline this week. They parted ways with offseason signing cornerback Jaire Alexander, trading him and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2026 sixth-round pick.

The deal comes nine weeks into Alexander’s disappointing run in Baltimore. He suited up for just two games with the team and was severely underwhelming in those opportunities. He was often a healthy scratch due to a lingering knee injury that kept him from seeing much playing time.
