The Baltimore Ravens and the Maryland Food Bank are teaming up to fight hunger.
The group gathered Friday at Guinness Open Gate Brewery to package boxes of meals and holiday favorites.
While the pair have partnered for more than 20 years, this is the first "Feed the Flock" event.
"This year, we'll be distributing 25,000 holiday boxes throughout Maryland, and today's event will pack about 5,000 of those," said Elise Krikau, senior vice president of the Maryland Food Bank.
The Feed the Flock event runs through Nov. 30. Donations can be made at any Baltimore-area Safeway supermarket.
