OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens made a move to upgrade their backup cornerback position and special teams on Friday by claiming Chris Lewis-Harris off waivers and releasing Will Davis.
Lewis-Harris was a surprise cut by the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday. An undrafted player out of Tennessee-Chattanooga, Lewis-Harris showed promise in four seasons, intercepting his first pass earlier this season and contributing on special teams.
To make room for Lewis-Harris, the Ravens decided to part ways with Davis, who was acquired from the Miami Dolphins in September 2015 for a seventh-round pick.
