Ravens, long snapper Morgan Cox agree to five-year deal

Long snapper Morgan Cox, who has been with the Ravens for six seasons, today agreed to a five-year contract that keeps him from hitting free agency this week.

Cox, 29, signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2010, and has appeared in 86 regular season games since. He missed part of the 2014 season after tearing his ACL in the seventh game.

But he came back strong and appeared in all 16 Ravens games in 2015.

Cox would have been one of the Ravens' 10 unrestricted free agents when the signing period begins Wednesday.
