Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has canceled his annual "Funday with LJ'' event in Florida, a spokesperson confirmed to the Baltimore Sun.
The spokesperson told the newspaper that Broward County, where the event was scheduled to be held, had put a limit on attendance for the event because of Florida's spike in coronavirus cases. Based on the number of people who had already registered, Jackson chose to cancel rather than turn people away, the spokesperson said.
Jackson's third annual event was to be held Saturday and Sunday in his hometown of Pompano Beach, Florida, according to a flyer shared on his Instagram page Monday.
