The Ravens agreed to a contract with Robert Griffin III before the 2018 NFL Draft, and he was ‘penciled in’ to be the backup. After the draft, his roster status was uncertain considering the fact that Baltimore has not kept three quarterbacks on the roster since 2007 with Kyle Boller, Steve McNair and Troy Smith.
