"Right now, we're doing the pink pumpkin patch, which people vote on the best pumpkin people created, and it goes toward Cancer LifeNet, which is an organization that helps out families that are struggling through cancer," said Drew Evans, founder and president of the Bel Air-based teen-run organization VolunTeen Leo.
This fall, for the group's monthly event in October, it was all about breast cancer awareness. All the proceeds from the event benefitted Cancer LifeNet at the Kaufman Cancer Center at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health.
But their work doesn't stop here.
"We organize fundraisers and events and things like that to provide for the community.
