In a nearly 7 minute video posted to Twitter on Wednesday, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III asked Americans to stand with him and other players who protest police brutality.
"For far too long, we have turned a blind eye to racism, discrimination and the mistreatment of people of color in this country while we send troops around the world every day to help other countries eliminate those same issues," Griffin said in the video. "The beauty in it all is the protests grow in number, in strength when the unaffected are just as outraged as the affected.
