Ravens get defensive when asked about potential loss of CB Jimmy Smith

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The usually affable Eric Weddle cut off the end of a reporter's question when asked about the Baltimore Ravens' confidence level if the defense had to play without injured cornerback Jimmy Smith.

"It's as high as it's ever been," Weddle said. "We're not worried about who is going to play or who is not going to play. We'll play with the guys we have out there. We'll be ready. We're going to play outstanding and hopefully have a great game."

The prospect of the Ravens playing without their top cornerback is a concern, whether the Ravens acknowledge it or not.
