Baltimore Ravens safety Eric Weddle was added to the Pro Bowl roster only this past week, but he obviously wasn't viewed as an alternate by the rest of the players on the AFC team.
Weddle was selected by his teammates Friday to be one of the four captains on the AFC. The other captains are: Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, Browns left tackle Joe Thomas and Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller.
