The Baltimore Ravens had a tough week. Their Week 13 game against the Cincinnati Bengals did not go anywhere close to as they planned, losing in embarrassing fashion, 32-14.
They entered the week with a perfect opportunity to make a statement in the AFC North. They sat in first place via tiebreaker, and a win over the Bengals would have strengthened that tiebreaker. Throw in a tough Week 13 draw for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and there was a real possibility that Baltimore would set itself up to run away with the division in the coming weeks.
