Ravens can't bank on Steve Smith being their No. 1 receiver in 2016

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens received some good news Wednesday, when wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. announced he would be coming back to play in 2016. What would be better news is the Ravens announcing that Smith's return won't be the team's biggest move at that position.

No one can assume that Smith is going to be the same top-notch playmaking receiver. He is the NFL's oldest receiver at 36 and he is coming off a season-ending Achilles injury. The worst thing the Ravens can do is bank on Smith for 70-plus receptions and 1,000 yards.
