The Baltimore Ravens capped off a successful first week of the preseason with a 17-14 victory over the New Orleans Saints in what was an expectedly sloppy affair.
Despite forcing six turnovers, the Ravens barely squeaked by their foes due in part to a lackluster offensive showing. Perhaps no sentence has better encompassed the idea of preseason football than that one did.
Heading into Week 2 of the preseason, Baltimore will be looking to improve on a few areas. And with only three preseason games this year, the second outing might prove to be the most important of them all.
