Ravens 30, Commanders 3

The Ravens were outgained 242 yards to 232. The Commanders had the edge in passing yards, 157 to 130 and they outpaced the Ravens 4.2 to 3.7 in yards per play. Yet where it matters most, the Ravens dominated the scoreboard with a very convincing performance in their preseason finale, throttling Washington by the score of 30-3.

The deciding factor was turnovers. The Ravens took the ball away from the Commanders four times without relinquishing it once. And that has been an emphasis of the team throughout training camp.

Thinking back to the Ravens divisional loss in Buffalo back in January, despite losing the turnover battle 3-0, the Ravens still were in the game until the very end and nearly tied it with under 2 minutes to play.
