Each draft pick was a proverbial home run. Free-agent signings were done tactically and for a team-friendly deal. All of the unproven players on the roster have shown themselves working out, leading to overzealous fans banking on career-turning seasons.
Of course, it doesn’t always work out that way, does it?
Ravens fans are adamant that this year’s changes are of the seminal variety, as a new offensive coordinator, new weapons in the passing offense and a defense that progressively improved last season coming back mostly intact has led their team to being a true contender for a Super Bowl trophy.
