OTL: It’s JK Time (Whoever is Handing it to Him)

In a quarterback-driven league where quarterbacks rule the light, there’s no surprise that running back is a position that has been somewhat set into the darkness.

Consider that Ki-Jana Carter was the last running back taken with the first overall pick of the draft, and that it was 1995 — a year before the Ravens were even an organization. Since then, we have even heard a debate as to if a running back should even be taken in the first round, and we’ve watched veteran running backs drop value as they reach the end of their rookie contracts.
