Roster cutdown day is here, Flock. It’s probably the only bad date on the offseason calendar between now and real, actual NFL football, which is great, but cutdown day itself can be a real bummer. Fanbases around the league see guys emerge during the preseason at the fringes of the roster and hang onto the hope that they can earn a spot on the final 53, and when it doesn’t happen, you just hope that player can stick around on the practice squad and stay ready if their number is eventually called.
Granted, the fear of passing on a guy to watch him become a superstar elsewhere is usually misplaced…
As we wait on #Ravens to make cuts, some even fretting the possible releases of players like Jay Higgins, Keyon Martin, Beau Brade & Reuben Lowery to name a few, this post from @nickkorte in 8/2023 may soothe your worries until the players are reclaimed & signed to the PS.
