Coming into Saturday’s matchup, one of the major sources of anxiety I saw around the Flock was the lingering specter of recent postseason failures. Comparisons to 2019 were everywhere, whether they were because fans were anxious that this would be the same issue all over again, or whether fans were rallying others to leave that season behind. When the Ravens began to pull away in the second half, it was a welcome sigh of relief for the fanbase, not only because the game was firmly in hand, but also because we got to collectively turn a page on that 2019 season, which feels truly dead and buried now.
