It was three years ago this past Wednesday when the 2012 Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers, 34-31, to capture Super Bowl XLVII and their second world championship.
The trips down memory lane have been frequent this week with the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers preparing for Super Bowl 50, and the Ravens coming off a 5-11 season, their worst in John Harbaugh’s tenure.
But what is both well-documented and striking is just how few of those players are still in the organization. Of the 74 Ravens that were either on the active roster, injured reserve or the practice squad at the time of Super Bowl XLVII, only 13 of them are currently with the organization.
