Molly Shattuck sentenced to 48 weekends in community corrections center in Del. rape case

Former Ravens cheerleader and fitness author Molly Shattuck will spend 48 weekends in jail after being convicted in Delaware of rape in the sexual assault of a teenage boy.

Shattuck, 48, apologized and appeared to sob during her testimony in court in Delaware Friday before the victim's parents, who said it has been an agonizing situation for their family.

"I take full responsibility for what I did...I was the adult," Shattuck said.

Prosecutors say Shattuck performed oral sex on a 15-year-old boy who attended McDonogh School with her son. The incident happened last summer at a rented vacation house in Bethany Beach, Del.
