TEMPE, Ariz. – Believe it.
Three members of Journey will perform the National Anthem before Monday night’s Arizona Cardinals-Baltimore Ravens game at University of Phoenix Stadium, the team announced Wednesday.
Co-founder and lead guitarist Neal Schon will be accompanied by keyboardist Jonathan Cain – who’s been with the band since 1980 – and lead singer Arnel Pineda. Pineda, a Filipino singer and song writer who was discovered by Schon on the Internet, was named Journey’s newest lead singer in 2007.
Journey has sold 47 million albums in the United States and more than 90 million across the world since they’re formed in San Francisco in 1973.
