Baltimore Ravens LS Morgan Cox has been named to the 2016 Pro Bowl roster, the NFL announced Tuesday afternoon.
It marks Cox’s first-career Pro Bowl nod, with him joining P Sam Koch and G Marshal Yanda as Ravens representatives who will play in this year’s game.
A six-year veteran, Cox was chosen by Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid as a “need” player for the Pro Bowl roster. (Reid’s staff will coach in the NFL’s annual All-Star game.) The NFL stipulates that the head coach of each team chooses a “need” player, and those players must be long snappers.
