It seems as if every free agent cut loose by another team suddenly becomes a signing prospect for the Ravens in the eyes of many fans, provided of course said cut fills a position of need. And if they do, fans are anxious for Ravens GM Eric DeCosta to take out his Mont Blanc and ink the coveted player.

The most recent street free agent that not only matches that description but has looked good in purple for 10 seasons is tight end Kyle Rudolph. But 10 years of being the guy in Minnesota might not be the perfect fit in Baltimore given the presence of Mark Andrews.
