The Baltimore Ravens were only founded in 1996 but when they beat the Cleveland Browns at the beginning of January, it sealed their second consecutive AFC North Championship and their eighth overall. It was also the 16th time they have made the playoffs.
The main characters in the Ravens’ play are varied but the man in charge of the throttle has been quarterback Lamar Jackson. The MVP winner in 2019 and 2023 has been simply sensational, especially in the first phase of the season. The 28-year-old is the first quarterback in the history of the NFL to accumulate over 4,000 passing yards and over 800 rushing yards.
