Knee injury left Ravens WR Breshad Perriman in a dark place

In his first extensive comments since he hurt his right knee in the Ravens’ first full-team training camp practice on July 30, Breshad Perriman said his season-ending injury left him so depressed that at one point, he wasn’t taking calls from his parents.

“It’s been probably the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, honestly,” Perriman said, confirming that he’s been dealing with a partially-torn posterior cruciate ligament. “Just a huge disappointment for me.
