Justin Tucker's field-goal streak falls one short of Ravens record

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker's perfect season and a chance to tie a franchise record ended with a block in the first quarter.

Tucker had hit 35 in a row before Shea McClellin leapt over the middle of the line and batted down the 34-yard field-goal attempt. He was one short of tying Matt Stover's team record of 36 in a row. Tucker's streak was tied for the fifth-longest in NFL history.

The previous last miss by Tucker was Dec. 6, 2015. He was 28-for-28 this season.

With his blocked field goal Monday, Justin Tucker is 2-for-4 in his career against New England, according to ESPN Stats & Information.
