OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Kicker Justin Tucker was integral in the Baltimore Ravens' 3-0 start and was recognized for that Thursday.
Tucker was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month after making all nine of his field goals, including three from 50 yards and beyond. His 53-yarder with 1 minute, 2 seconds remaining on Sunday lifted Baltimore to a 19-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Tucker's third Player of the Month award ties him with safety Ed Reed and kicker Matt Stover for the most in Ravens history. Tucker previously won the award in November 2013 and November 2014.
