James Hurst Back In The Starting Spotlight

James Hurst prepared all offseason as if he could be the starter.

Then, on the first drive of the 2015 season, he was right back in the saddle.

With Eugene Monroe dealing with the effects of a concussion sustained in Denver and sitting out this week of practice, it appears Hurst is in line to start again Sunday against the Raiders.

“Being a backup guy, you never know when that opportunity is going to come,” Hurst said. “It happened on the first drive. That’s better than maybe happening on the last drive of the game.
