As well-oiled as the Ravens offense appeared on Sunday night, it could have been better. Missed opportunities, including the Collins fumble and the overthrow of Crabtree kept the Ravens from a more-lopsided win.

Nonetheless, this was another game where scheme and pass blocking meshed for a fine offensive performance.

Scheme Notes

The Ravens used Lamar Jackson for the first time on 3rd down in this game, not once but 3 times. Let’s review:

When Lamar went on the field for the 3rd and 2 play (Q1, 11:38) they also inserted Orlando Brown for James Hurst at RT and Patrick Ricard at RTE flanked by Nick Boyle as a 2nd TE on the right side with Maxx Williams as the single back next to Jackson.
