There was no doubt that Michael Campanaro was in for a bigger role this week. Offensive Coordinator Marc Trestman even went on the record to say so.
Campanaro did indeed get those opportunities, and took advantage of them, taking an end around to the house for a nine-yard touchdown run. So it was especially concerning to see the fan favorite Maryland-native being hauled away on a cart during the final minutes of regulation.
