How Terrance West's absence from practice could affect Ravens

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens running back Terrance West didn't practice Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury.

The official injury report will come out later Wednesday afternoon.

West, the Ravens' starting running back, leads the team with two touchdowns and ranks second with 102 yards rushing. He was held to two carries in the second half in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Cleveland Browns, and coach John Harbaugh didn't indicate there was an injury issue after the game.

"He had a big workload, and towards the end of the game, we thought it would be better to not get too many reps in the fourth quarter," Harbaugh said when asked about West on Sunday.
