It’s interesting how some fans are throwing shade on the Ravens for their selection of Mike Green out of Marshall University with 59th overall pick. Projected to be a top 15-20 pick by most draft publications, Green’s precipitous fall stems from sexual allegations and his responses to said allegations when questioned about them.
Word is that some teams took Green off their board and typically, that’s a path the Ravens normally choose when character red flags rear their ugly heads. But this time, the Ravens brass did something unpredictable. They dug a little deeper into these sexual allegations and picked a tarnished player with first-round grades late in the second round.
