Former Ravens TE Maxx Williams signs with the Arizona Cardinals

In the 2015 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens traded up with the Arizona Cardinals to select TE Maxx Williams.

The Cardinals traded down three spots, from 55 to 58, and received an extra fifth-round selection (pick 158) as the Ravens jumped the then-St. Louis Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers to select Williams. Now, four years later, the Cardinals are signing Williams.

Williams’ time in Baltimore was up-and-down. He supplied great blocking and produced decent numbers during his rookie season, but in 2016 he suffered and dealt with a knee injury which eventually turned into a first-of-its-kind surgery.
