Macdonald was Bowser’s defensive coordinator for his final two years with the Ravens, although he didn’t play the entire 2023 season. After missing the first eight games of the 2022 season while recovering from a torn Achilles, Bowser returned for the final nine games of Macdonald’s first year at the helm of Baltimore’s defense, made four starts and recorded three sacks, seven quarterback hits and four tackles for loss including postseason play.
