Whenever you put together the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens at Sports Authority Field for a season opener, it’s hard not to think back to Peyton Manning’s 2013 dissection of the Ravens that took place on that early September eve.
Those are haunting memories.
It was a night that was supposed to be celebrated in Baltimore following the Super Bowl XLVII Championship. Instead it was gift-wrapped for Peyton Manning and the Broncos, a team that marinated for 8 months in that bitter 38-35 loss to the Ravens during the 2012 Divisional Playoff Game.
