“Deposits” Thinning at The Bank

As I stared off and upward during the Ravens game against the Browns last Sunday, I was reminded of the Jimmy Buffett’s lyrics, “nothing remains quite the same”. Seeing pockets and sometimes rows of purple deep into the first quarter saddened me. These pockets of purple used to be jerseys and now they are empty seats. For a team virtually always in contention and currently vying for first place while the weather nearly being perfect, one cannot help but wonder how this could be? History teaches us that Ravens fans are always loud and rarely late. Now, too many of them aren’t even present and accounted for on Sundays.
