How have the Raven been so successful in the preseason? It’s primarily been a function of defensive depth. The defense delivered an interception in the red zone, a 4-down stop from the 2-yard line, a late blocked punt, and a 2-point stop that maintained a late lead. They also overcame an offense which struggled mightily and generated just 3.6 yards per pass play.
It was the 12th consecutive preseason game in which the defense allowed 20 or fewer points.
