The atmosphere was different. The electricity was present. The intensity, real. The joint practice between the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Commanders was an opportunity for the players on both teams to compete against color. In other words, to take on a practice opponent wearing different colors than those they donned.
Perhaps the respective head coaches for each team instructed their players to work, stack another good practice and most importantly, take care of each other. The regular season is less than four weeks away and that’s when the battle begins. Everything they do today, is to prepare for those moments.
