CB Kyle Arrington released by the Ravens

In correspondence with the signing of cornerback Brandon Boykin, the Ravens have released cornerback Kyle Arrington according to the team’s official Twitter account.

Arrington’s release is a result of a failed physical according to the Baltimore Sun’s Jeff Zrebiec. Arrington has not participated in OTA’s thus far this offseason. According to Garrett Downing of the Ravens’ official website, it is unclear whether or not Arrington will retire following his release.

According to Spotrac, the move will free $2.1 million in cap room for the Ravens, doubling what the Ravens before Arrington’s release.
