Calais Campbell named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

For the second consecutive week, a Ravens player has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week. Last week, rookie Patrick Queen got the nod for the first time in his career after his standout performance against the Bengals.

This week, someone who’s no stranger to the honor is getting the nod — Calais Campbell.

Campbell had his best game of the season, and best game in his short Ravens tenure thus far, against the Eagles on Sunday. Campbell dominated the Eagles patchwork offensive line as both a run stuffer and pass rusher, getting consistent penetration in Philadelphia’s backfield all afternoon.
