With the Ravens entering Sunday’s game with a 4-10 record and the Steelers coming in with a chance to punch their playoff ticket, it was no surprise that the enemy had infiltrated Baltimore’s home.
But that’s part of what made the Ravens’ 20-17 series-sweeping victory so sweet – especially for the purple-clad fans who showed up. The win came with so many once eager and confident Steelers fans getting a front-row seat.
Despite the high number of intruders, Ravens fans were loud, roused by the team’s early lead and never relenting.
“The fans were incredible,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said afterwards.
