When the game comes down to his foot, nobody is more important than the field goal kicker. Having two of the most reliable kickers of all time in Matt Stover and Justin Tucker, the Ravens have had their share of last second glory.
The Ravens have also been on the other side of a big field goal. In 2011 Billy Cundiff missed a chip shot that ended the Ravens playoff run. In 2009 Steven Haushka missed a field goal against the Vikings. Instead of a miraculous comeback win, the Ravens comeback was for nothing.
When you have horrible moments off the right foot of horrible kickers, it makes you appreciate Tucker and Stover that much more.
