The NFL is a business, don’t let anyone tell you other wise. Just take the release of Jeremy MAclin for example.
Maclin just recently found a home with the Baltimore Ravens earlier this week, but it was not all happy go lucky. According to Pro Football Talk, the wide receiver found out he was being released via voicemail from general manager John Dorsey.
Here is an excerpt from the interview that Maclin had with PFT Live last Thursday:
“Through a voicemail,” Maclin said. “[From G.M.] John Dorsey. I was upset, I was shocked. Apparently, they had been trying to trade me for two or three months.
